USING the Hoop - Suggestions for Safest Use
1) If you are mounting the hoop onto a wall -- be sure to place the hoop high enough so that there is absolutely no chance that a child's head can come into contact with the DOOR JAM hoop.
2) Many users will mount their Door Jam hoop onto the top of a door using our bracket. Players should
use common sense in their all-out drives to the hoop, and avoid full-speed contact with doors that
are not kind to contact ! In other words -- practice your Dwight Howard Superman 360's * at less than breakneck
speed...and avoid slamming hard into the wall, or door !
* Dwight Howard - current NBA player regarded as the most exciting dunker
in recent years
* "360" - a complete (i.e., full-circle) turn-in-the-air slam dunk
3) Avoid fingers in the net area.
* Lastly...for your economic safety don't let your boss catch you too often shooting in your office... or better yet, buy him or her their own hoop !
