We are now looking for candidates for our first All-DOOR JAM Team !
You can nominate yourself...or your friends, co-workers, classmates, kids, ...of course,
creativity will be the judges' main focus.
Send us an email giving us name, age, city, and state. Describe your feats with the Door Jam, and other
reasons why you, or the person you are nominating, deserves consideration for the All-Door Jam Teams. If
you can, send us a creative photo or video clip. We'll publish the best of what we get !
Note: for ages 14 & under, last names will not be published in tandem with photos.

Also, watch this space for Great Moments in Indoor Hoop History. We're looking to highlight some of the great moments in indoor mini-hoop history. One of our favorites is the notorious "King Slam of Nerf" dunking contest held in Durand, Michigan in the year 1980. The brainchild of Gus Macker impressario Scott McNeal, this contest attracted dunk wannabe's from far and wide to the halftime of a high school game near Flint. A historical perspective puts this on a plane with the ABA dunk contests of the 70's as being just waaay ahead of its time...
